Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay overnight stay on Halong Vspirit Cruise 2 days 1 night deluxe package (B, L, D).
08h00 – 08h30 Pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side and have a short break on the way.
12h00 – Embark on V’Spirit Classic Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing

15h30 – 16h30 Kayak among the hidden areas of the bay, around the Bo Nau Cave area.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Train to Sapa (B, L)
06h30 – 07h00 start your day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt

08h30 – 09h30 Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the nicest cave in Halong Bay.
09h30 Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin.

Day 4: Lao Cai on arrival – Sapa trekking tour (B, L, D)
Get pick up at Lao Cai Train station, transfer to hotel in Sapa, get breakfast and shower
After breakfast, transfer 6 km by jeep or van. Followed by a 2km walk down to Lao Chai village, and continue a further 3 km to Ta Van village where the Dzay minority people live.Here you will enjoy lunch provided for you in a local family home, all for you to discover their daily life, works and special custom, enjoy landscapes… After lunch we will trek through bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai village – home of the red Dzao. Nearby we will rest at a wonderful watter fall followed by a rattan bridge crossing taking us back to the Jeep for our return to Sapa. You will have free time untill your included dinner in Sapa Queen restaurant. After dinner the romantic town of Sapa is all yours to enjoy. Overnight at Sapa 3 Star Hotel (Sapa Lodge Hotel)
Day 5: Sapa trekking tours – Overnight on train back Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Have breakfast then leave the hotel
8:15 am, we start trekking downhill to Y Linh Ho and Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn the life of hill tribes here. Communication exchange with local people in Lao Chai village 10:00: Continue walking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village settled by Dzay ethnic. 12:00: Have picnic lunch on the way then keep going to the bottom of Sapa valley which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. Back to Sapa in the afternoon around 16:00pm
After dinner, we take you back Lao Cai Station to catch the night train back Hanoi

Day 6: Hanoi city tour full day (B, L)
Hanoi: Located on the banks of the Red River with tranquil Hoan KiemLake at its heart, Hanoi is the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. North of the lake are the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, each street named after the trade that used to take place there.Sightseeing with a Local Guide; water puppets performance; visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace, and Temple of Literature, Ethnology Museum

Visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum On the way out visit One Pillar pagoda. The pagoda was constructed in 1049 by King Ly Thai Tong according to his dream of Bodhisattva seating on a lotus flower and led him to the pagoda. In 1954, the pagoda was destroyed by the French before their withdraw. After taking over the city on October 10th 1954, Vietnam Ministry of Culture restored the pagoda. The pagoda of today remains since this restoration.
Around 11:00am,arriving at the Temple of Literature. This is the combination of the Confucius Temple worshiping Confucius which was built in 1070 and the first Royal National university in Vietnam built 6 years later in 1076. Considered as “an escape” from the bustling city, this temple and its beautiful garden provide an opportunity to learn more about education in Vietnam since 1000 years ago until recent history.
12:00pm lunch time in local Restaurant with local Vietnamese traditional Cuisines
1:00pm continue to visit the interesting Ethnology Museum. Located west of the city centre, this museum offer informative and well-documented display on the country’s 54 ethnic groups, include elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes, weaving designs, musical instruments, fishing implements, work tools and other functional objects. The display continues on to the garden outside with fascinating examples of minority housing from the King’s to the ones of the ethnic groups in Central Highlands.
3:30pm visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword lake) and Ngoc Son temple. Situated in the heart of Hanoi, the lake got its name according to a legend story. In the 15th century during the Ming Chinese invasion, general Le Loi was presented with a holy sword. With the help of this sword he expelled the Chinese from Thang Long, present-day of Hanoiand proclaimed himself as king Le Thai To. One day, when the king was sailing on the lake, suddenly a golden turtle emerged from the water and claimed back the sword which has been believed given to him by God. Since then, the lake has been known as Ho Hoan Kiem or the lake of the Restored Sword.
On as island at the northern part of the lake stands Ngoc Son or Jade Mountain temple, one of the most beautiful and religious site in the capital. The temple was established by a mandarin named Nguyen Van Sieu and is dedicated to the spirits of the soil, medicine, literature, and also to Tran Hung Dao, the general who defeated the Mongols in the 13th century.
